Dea Kudibal
Dea Kudibal herself is both founder and creative director of Dea Kudibal. Originally from Copenhagen she was deeply fascinated by fashion ever since her childhood. Her first opportunity in the fashion world was designing costumes at a theatre. Later she moved to London to study Fashion Management at the prestigious London College of Fashion. Dea Kudibal then started her own small—scale business designing exclusive scarves and shawls.
Dea Kudibal as we know it today was founded in Copenhagen in 2003 and has been growing from strength to strength ever since. I believe it is almost obligatory to have at least one piece of Dea Kudibal in your wardrobe today. I am a genuine fan of the brand due the the lovely varity in fabrics, great fit that suits almost every shape and timeless designs.
Waldorf Zurich
Anna Turcinov is the founder of this very new corporate label Waldorf Zurich. Only just founded in 2023, the story behind this label makes my heart melt. Anna, like myself has a corporate finance background. As many of us did and still do, she found it was difficult to dress professionally without spending a fortune. The options are either to buy a fast fashion suit or to spend a vast amount of money on another.
Waldorf Zurich was born with the vision to revolutionise the way women in business perceive themselves. Empowering them to embrace their uniqueness and radiate confidence every day with beautifully made unique professional outfits which are still affordable.
The first collection has been a real hit and I personally am super excited to see the Spring collection very soon. It almost makes me want to go back into the corporate banking world – smile!
Kristina Ferenchuk
Kristina Ferenchuk started her jewellery label in 2017 in Zurich after completing her BA in Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins. During her time at Central Saint Martins she developed a unique way of using modern technology and traditional jewellery craftsmanship to build high precision structures that come to life. There are no two pieces of her jewellery that are the same.
Kristina thinks of her jewellery as modern, rhythmic with a pinch of playful. Through her jewels, she will immerse you into a world full of mysteries to uncover. A world ruled by colour and harmony. For her, jewellery is about feeling. You put on a piece and it gives you a certain state of mind. Most of her pieces are made to order and she is one of the few designers that also designs and makes her own jewels in her studio in Zurich.
I am always excited to see her lovely creations, sometimes I feel as though they come from another universe.
