It was different for three reasons:
- A strong and consistent focus on two defining themes: geopolitics and AI
- A noticeable shift in the geopolitical mood as the week unfolded – from deep pessimism towards a more pragmatic discussion on how to position ourselves better for what lies ahead
- More direct, unfiltered viewpoints from both political leaders and executives across these two dominant topics.
The message was clear: disruption is accelerating. Managing its impact – and capturing the opportunities it creates – will require decisive action, and I sensed a real willingness to move from discussion to action.
Beyond these, by nature, heavier conversations, I also enjoyed meeting many inspiring, passionate people and reconnecting with others.
Now it is time to return to working with our clients to help them navigate these disruptions and build resilience for the future – because what happens in Davos should never stay in Davos.
Thank you for following my posts from #WEF26 in Davos.
