mi Querido
In Spanish, the name “mi Querido” means “my beloved, my precious” – and this symbolises the passion behind each item created.
The designer behind the label is Julia Auth, a graphic designer from Berlin who now lives and works in Switzerland.
She inherited a passion for fabrics from her grandmother, who managed the fabric purchasing department of a fashion house.
However her love of both a perfect and comfortable fit comes from her mother, who tailored her clothes when she was a child and teenager. As a graphic designer, she has a great enthusiasm for colours, images and patterns. She uses them to tell colourful and extroverted stories in her collections.
All pieces are made by small family businesses in Europe.

The Blue Suit
The Blue Suit is my absolute favourite sustainable denim brand founded by 2 women: Karen Rauschenbach with a background in aerospace projects, and Yvonne Vermeulen with a background in fashion.
It is amazing what two women with such different backgrounds managed to achieve.
Today they are ever so proud to be the first fashion brand in Switzerland offering a Cradle to Cradle Certified® Denim Collection.
Not all pieces are denim – there is also a beautiful selection of organic cotton pieces. However each piece is beautifully made with great attention to sustainability every step of the way.
Every piece I own from their collection ends up being a wardrobe favourite which is worn time and time again.
Pavone Zurich
Pavone Zurich is where you will find the absolute best moccasins and loafers in Switzerland!
Sandra Vogt is the founder of Pavone Zurich and proud mum of a 5 year old boy. A truly inspirational woman who loves helping others and is a strong believer of everything being possible and people living their dreams.
I would even go as far to say that even if you are simply in need of inspiration, it is well worth making the trip to Pavone Zurich situated in the heart of Zollikon.
In 2021 realising her motto “everything is possible and live our dream”, Sandra began designing her own moccasins and loafers. The start of a wonderful adventure. The shoes are all made in Italy by a small family-run manufacturer. They are free of both chemicals and metal.
Speaking from experience – once you step into a Pavone Zurich moccasin, you’ll never want any other brand ever again. I love the fact that each shoe has a special colour coordinated arch support in it, giving the feet more support and making the shoe more stable.
Adrift
Adrift is a lovely Australian brand created in 2012 by a Brisbane mum, Bec Pullar. Her aim was to create an inclusive label which celebrates the beauty and boldness of everyday women.
Regardless of size, shape or age, Adrift clothing will look good on you and it is also affordable.
Most pieces are now made in their very own factory in Bali which has been renovated to make sure of good working conditions. In addition, a lot of emphasis is placed on supporting women who wish to come back to the workforce.
I have a number of Adrift pieces in my wardrobe and love going back to them year after year due to their timeless and easy-to-wear nature. Available online globally under
