Why do so many successful women struggle with money, investing and financial confidence?
What if your relationship with money was shaped long before you earned your first paycheck?
From childhood experiences to family beliefs, our relationship with money often begins long before we start earning it ourselves.
In this episode of the Ladies Drive Live Podcast, we sit down with Marion Fogli – Co-Founder of Switzerland’s first digital private bank and founder of Finance Made Human – to explore the psychology behind money and the beliefs that shape our financial decisions.
After more than two decades in finance, Marion came to a powerful realization: money is rarely just about numbers. It is about emotions, habits, confidence, family influences and the stories we carry throughout our lives.
Together, we discuss:
– how emotions and experiences and how our upbringing shapes our relationship with money (rich Dad poor Dad - rich Mum poor Mum)
– how to build a healthy relationship with money
– Marion’s approach to teaching her own children about investing, saving and long-term wealth creation
– the entrepreneurial journey and Marion's challenges of building Switzerland’s first digital private bank from scratch
– why especially women need to take ownership of their financial future
– how financial confidence can transform your life
One thought especially stayed with us:
"It's good to earn money. It's fantastic to spend it. It's fantastic to see it grow over time."
As this episode goes live, Marion's new book "CHF 289 – Un chiffre. Une question. Toute une histoire." has just been released. Available in paperback or Kindle on Amazon.
A powerful conversation about money, mindset and the question: What is your relationship with money?
Whether you're an entrepreneur, executive, investor or simply looking to gain more confidence with money, this conversation offers valuable insights into financial independence, wealth creation and building a healthier money mindset.
Recorded live at Bargespräche Privé at Beau-Rivage Genève.
