Atelier Emeraude
A good shirt or blouse is an absolute essential in every wardrobe, which makes me ever so happy to be showcasing the Swiss-based brand ATELIER EMERAUDE. Many people are concerned about sustainability, overproduction, and waste in the fashion industry. Of all the stories I’ve come across, the one behind ATELIER EMERAUDE is my absolute favourite.

Founded in 2022 by Nicole Rudolph, ATELIER EMERAUDE draws its name from the emerald’s intense colour – symbolising balance and renewal. Nicole has found a thoughtful, stylish solution to garment waste: she creates women’s blouses using men’s shirts.
Each piece is crafted from brand-new men’s shirts that were never sold – giving them a second life with purpose. No two blouses are the same, and each one is made from pristine fabric that has been redesigned to create a flattering feminine silhouette. Even better, the designs evolve constantly and stay in step with couture trends. These blouses truly elevate an outfit – perfect for the office, date night, or casual wear.

Viamaro
Valentyna Romanenko is the founder and creative force behind Viamaro, a knitwear brand she launched over a decade ago to craft timeless pieces for women who value effortless elegance and uncompromising quality. Her guiding belief?

That no woman should ever have to choose between style, comfort, and confidence. Before founding Viamaro, Valentyna collaborated closely with renowned Italian and Ukrainian designers, gaining deep insight into fabric innovation and the principles of enduring design. Exciting news: this February, Viamaro was featured at Ukrainian Fashion Week with its Autumn/Winter 2025 collection. The brand is now preparing to open its first showroom in Bern, Switzerland – stay tuned! I’m personally a huge fan of the knitwear. The fit is just right – elevated yet easy. My tip? Start with one of the curated sets available online. It’s the kind of piece that makes you feel special wherever you wear it.

Mazini

Maria Mazina is the Creative Director of the Ukrainian fashion brand MAZINI, established in 2015 with a vision of creating elegant businesswear for confident women. Over the years, the brand has grown with its clients – from boardrooms to evening events.
In 2025, MAZINI celebrated its 10th anniversary with a milestone debut in Paris, presenting a collection that united the brand’s most iconic and timeless designs. This is where I discovered the brand and fell in love with the perfect tailoring and sophisticated, flowing lines – perfect as occasion wear or as the timeless suit that everyone needs in their wardrobe.
The Autumn/Winter 2025 collection brings together the discipline of form with the freedom of flow, reflecting how women today live: strong, adaptable, resilient. The brand’s colour codes – white and red – embody its philosophy: white for purity and inner harmony, red for energy and passion.

Alersundi
Another brand I discovered during Paris Fashion Week. Simply seeing the collection walk down the runway put me in a festive mood. Hence, I decided this brand simply needed to be included in the December issue of Ladies Drive – don’t you agree?
Alersundi was founded by Alejandra Lersundi from Mexico in 2008. Eveningwear and red-carpet-ready pieces are her speciality. Each piece is made to order, with hours of hand-crafted work to create unique garments that blend sophistication with individuality. Eco-conscious practices and high-quality fabrics are of utmost importance to Alejandra.

Sparkles will always work for Christmas or New Year’s Eve, and I personally adored her incredibly original take on them.
