Lisa van Leer

Lisa discovered her love of writing during a high school exchange programme in the UK, where she was asked to keep an online journal reflecting on the cultural differences between life back home in the Netherlands and her new surroundings. What started as a school assignment soon became a passion and ultimately a career.
She went on to study journalism in London and gained her first newsroom experience as an intern at the Daily Mail. After graduating, she moved to Amsterdam, where she built her career as a freelance writer and editor. Alongside writing for magazines and digital publications, she also worked in content creation and social media, bringing together editorial storytelling and branded content.
Curious about the world and the people who shape it, Lisa has interviewed politicians, entrepreneurs, creatives and changemakers over the years. Now based in Switzerland, she contributes to Ladies Drive, where she seeks out inspiring women and meaningful stories that encourage conversation, broaden perspectives and remind us how much we can learn from one another.
