The story behind Ann&line began in early 2014 when Caroline, the owner and designer, moved from Paris to Zurich. I remember visiting Caroline as early as 2015 and seeing her atelier, which at the time was in her own home. Caroline has an interesting background.
She initially studied physiotherapy and then osteopathy. She opened her own practice and ran it with passion. Later, after meeting her husband in Paris, she sold everything and moved with him to Zurich. It was a difficult transition, not knowing the language and leaving her friends behind. To overcome the loneliness, she started her own fashion blog. Nine months later, in 2014, she launched her own clothing line, which has grown from strength to strength and now includes two shops in Zurich as well as an online store. I love Caroline’s careful choice of fabrics and her timeless designs, with their attention to detail.
