Barbara Frenkel (60) has been Member of the Executive Board, Procurement, of Porsche AG since 2021. The native of Hof, Germany, has held several leadership positions at the sportscar manufacturer. With an educational background in chemistry and rubber technology, she had worked for reputable automotive suppliers, such as Helsa, Valeo and TRW before joining Porsche AG in 2001. Throughout her career, she approached every challenge as a new opportunity to learn and grow – while leading diverse departments within Procurement, Quality Management and Sales. As Member of the Board, Procurement, Barbara Frenkel oversees the supply chain, partners, suppliers, and sustainability along the supply chain, while managing an annual purchasing volume of €14 billion.
