At 30, I started losing my hair. I realized that hair loss is about more than appearance, it affects confidence and how women feel about themselves. I refused to accept that the only options were ineffective natural products or aggressive treatments. So I founded VEDIC LAB, a Swiss premium hair and scalp care brand combining 5,000 years of Ayurvedic science with Swiss biotechnology. We spent years developing patented formulations with clinically proven results in just one month.
One challenge is changing an industry that has overlooked women for decades. Most hair loss products were developed by men, for men, even though female hair thinning has different biological causes and requires a different approach. My second challenge is scaling internationally. Despite reaching CHF 5 million in annual revenue in just two years, access to growth capital remains limited, with only around 2% of global venture capital invested in female-founded companies.
