Unlocking the potential of the female brain
Understanding the unique characteristics of the female brain is crucial for unlocking its full potential in terms of cognitive and creative performance.
Research shows that the female mind exhibits distinct strengths in areas such as emotional agility and creative problem-solving. By recognizing these differences as well as understanding the female cycle and the influence of hormons, we can tailor strategies to enhance mental well-being, reduce stress, and harness these strengths for more innovative and effective thinking.
The aim of this workshop is to empower women to leverage their brain’s unique capabilities, which can not only increase personal success but also foster more diverse and dynamic work environments.
In the second part of the workshop, we’ll focus on the creative state of mind. The Beatles took psychedelic drugs to compose their music of „Yellow Submarine“, Ernest Hemingway consumed alcohol to write in his extraordinary style, Aldous Huxley, and Salvador Dali used hypnagogic sleeping techniques to achieve surreal and dreamlike imagery. We will show you that you don´t need any of these to put yourself in a creative state of mind. Through guided exercises and proven techniques, you will learn how to enter a state of effortless creative flow.
Explore the neuropsychological science behind female cognition and creativity, engage with like-minded individuals to cultivate a supportive and stimulating environment and enjoy the emerging feel good factor which naturally comes with the creative state of mind.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP SPEAKERS
Dr. med. Evelyn Mauch, MHBA
Neurologist | Delegated Psychotherapist
As a specialist in neurology and senior physician in telemedicine at SWICA, she is an expert in neurodegenerative diseases, sleep disorders, and headaches.
Originally from Germany, she previously served as Senior Physician at the Clienia Group and as a resident physician in psychiatry at the Schmieder Clinics in Konstanz. She is also a founding member of Women for the Board and serves on the Advisory Board of the start-up Hirncoach AG. Additionally, she is a regular columnist for Ladies Drive.

Dr. Barbara Studer
Neuroscientist and Brain Researcher
An expert in brain fitness and mental health, she lectures at the University of Bern and other institutions. She is the co-founder of the start-up Hirncoach AG and was honored with the Digital Innovation Award by Ladies Drive at the Female Innovation Forum 2023.
As a neuroscientist, entrepreneur, and musician, I deliver scientific insights to my audience in a way that is clear, practical, and engaging. I studied in Fribourg, Taipei, and Bern, and collaborate closely with various research groups at the Universities of Bern and Zurich. My greatest passion is transforming research findings into effective programs and making them accessible to people. This is the mission of Hirncoach AG, a company that has been recognized with multiple awards.
Deep relationships, movement, and creativity are among the most valuable gifts we can offer ourselves and our brains. As a working mother of three, I am challenged and enriched daily by these elements in my life. I find balance in nature, music, and running—preferably training for a marathon.
Music is a profound resource that I experience through playing, singing, composing, and dancing. I love to incorporate dynamic, interactive elements and musical surprises into my offerings. My goal in lectures and workshops is not to preach but to create experiences that resonate and inspire. And what better tool than music—the red carpet to the heart?
