Dr Katja Gentinetta is a political philosopher, author, and university lecturer. She is also a member of various boards of directors and foundations. She teaches at the Universities of Zurich and Lucerne and is the chair of the Geneva Graduate Institute and the Stapferhaus. She is also a member of the ICRC Board. She was a long-standing columnist for NZZ am Sonntag and Der Pragmaticus magazine. She is the author and editor of numerous books and most recently served as a member of the Study Commission on Security Policy, appointed by the Federal Councillor, and as editor of its report. She is a sought-after guest on talk shows and regularly travels both at home and abroad for lectures and interviews.
